Canned Food Drive

We will host a Canned Food Drive from November 17 – 21. Please help us make a large contribution of canned goods to local families who are in need- your participation is greatly appreciated. The classroom that brings the most goods for the food drive will be rewarded with a pizza party, while the group that comes in second will receive a popcorn party.

Policy for Tardiness

Beginning on Nov. 10, tardies will be issued to students who are late to class. Students must be in their seats at 7:55 a.m. for class instruction. When a student is tardy for three days it is equal to one day of absence.

By State mandate, absences will exclude the student from qualifying for perfect attendance, whether they are excused or unexcused.

Pick- Up Times

  • School Hours: 7:55 am – 3:30 pm
  • Beginning on Nov. 10, if your child stays later than 4 p.m., you will be charged five dollars for After School Program services. If your child is in tutoring during the week they have until 5 pm to get picked up. After 5 pm, on tutorial days, parents will be charged five dollars.

Póliza de tardanzas

Empezando el día 10 de noviembre todas las tardanzas serán otorgadas cuando los estudiantes lleguen tarde a clase.  Estudiantes deberán de estar en sus asientos a las 7:55 a.m. para clase. Cuando un estudiante llegue tarde por tres días séase consecutivo o no  estás serán equivalente a una falta.

Por mandato del Estado todas las faltas excluirán al estudiante de obtener y calificar a asistencia puntual (perfect attendance), aun cuando estas sean justificadas.

Horas para recoger a estudiantes

Actualmente las horas de la escuela son de 8:00 a.m. a 3:15pm debido a la construcción de la calle.

·         El día 10 de noviembre la hora de salida será regresada a su horario habitual que es 3:30pm

A partir del día 10 de noviembre si su hijo se queda después de las 4 p.m. se le cobrara CINCO DOLLARES ya que será parte del programa después de escuela (After school program). Si el estudiante se queda a tutoría durante la semana entonces se le otorgara hasta las 5:00 p.m  para que pase por él. Si el estudiante se queda después de esta hora se le cobrara CINCO DOLLARES.

November 19 – Tea with the Principal (2 pm –3 pm)

November 20 – Fall Festival / Holiday Play (5 pm – 7 pm)

·         Report Cards for 2nd Six weeks

November 20 & 21 – After School Program is CANCELLED

November 22 – Saturday Tutoring is CANCELLED

November 24 –28 – November Break

December 4 – Big Bash (Elementary)

·        Annual District-Wide Speech Competition

December 18 – Winter Program (location TBA)
